INDOOR AIR PROTECTION WITH TITANIUM DIOXIDE
Project Description
We reduce the microbial load in the air of any enclosed space (operating theatres, food containers , cold rooms, etc.) applying titanium in its dioxide form- TiO2- on the surface of the area to protect. Light does the rest.
When light falls on the TiO2, it acts as a catalyst generating •OH radicals (in a reaction which is scientifically known as advanced oxidative photocatalysis).
- OH Radicals redox reaction potential, only exceededby fluorine, causes oxidation and thus elimination of attacking microorganisms. The application of TiO2 is simple and economical. It is surprising.
